Description
With loads of light in the south facing rooms, the sides of the house are constructed with local stone. A great deal of thought has gone into creating an energy efficient home with the latest facilities. Using an unusually high level of insulation, air sourced under floor heating on both the ground and first floors, a heat recovery ventilation system, plus a wood burner.

Overall nett internal floor area is 2745 sq.ft (255 sq.m).

Stour Row is surrounded by beautiful countryside and the south facing dining room, lounge and master bedroom enjoy views across the rolling countryside towards Hambledon Hill.

For those that love walking, there are numerous footpaths leading in all directions from the village, a favourite being to the beautiful Duncliffe Woods. There are local fishing lakes at Todber Manor Fisheries, and the quiet country roads are ideal for cycling and horse-riding. There are many good eating establishments in the area and a local farm shop selling good quality local produce.

Stour Row is 3 miles away from the historic hill top town of Shaftesbury (famous for the picturesque cobbled street of Gold Hill) and 4 miles from Gillingham which has a mainline railway station with direct services to London and the West Country. Both towns have good shopping and leisure facilities.

Completed Summer 2011.
